About this fabric

The cream background keeps the dense composition light, while the coral and crimson flowers give this colourway a warm, animated centre. Olive, sage and blue-green leaves are interspersed with brown stems, outlined petals and small ornamental flower heads. Larger blooms and seed-pod forms sit among finer sprigs, giving the pattern a varied medium scale rather than a single repeated motif. The overall effect is colourful and collected, with enough cream space to prevent the intricate design from feeling visually heavy.

How to use it

Pair Leonie - Cornaline with warm ivory, aged timber and muted olive upholstery to draw out its botanical character. Coral cushions or terracotta accents can echo the flowers, while soft blue details pick up the cooler notes in the foliage and smaller motifs.

Use the warm cream ground and coral-red flowers to bring lively, collected colour to upholstery or softly furnished windows.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
