About this fabric

The small chevron weave creates a consistent herringbone rhythm rather than a bold decorative motif, making the colour read as calm and considered. Its fern green is cool and slightly greyed, while the lighter interwoven yarns add subtle depth without strong contrast. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for Fixed Upholstery and is graded Contract and General Domestic. The composition is 14% Viscose, 28% Polyester, 46% acrylic, 6% Cotton and 6% Linen, with Dry Clean after-care.

How to use it

Use Leckford Fern on a buttoned chair, bench or sofa where its cool green tone can sit alongside chalky neutrals, pale timber and warm natural accents. The fine herringbone adds tailored texture without overpowering patterned cushions or artwork.

Use this muted fern-green herringbone to bring quiet texture and a cool, natural note to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Leckford Fern without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
