Wiggle Fern

Tango Weaves Fabric002

Wiggle Fern is a textured woven fabric in a khaki-olive green, traced with irregular emerald-green outlines. The small, looping abstract forms sit across a finely grained ground, giving the colourway a lively but natural character.

About this fabric

The olive ground has a muted, earthy depth, while the brighter green edging brings definition to each irregular organic shape. A fine all-over weave is clearly visible beneath the broken geometric outlines, creating subtle surface variation rather than a flat printed effect. Composed of 11% linen, 11% polyester, 22% cotton and 56% viscose, the 137cm-wide fabric is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. It has a Contract, General Domestic upholstery grade and is listed with dry-clean after-care.

How to use it

Pair the cool olive ground with natural timber, warm neutrals and darker green accents for an easy, layered scheme. The emerald outlines can also be picked out in cushions or trim when using Wiggle Fern on fixed upholstery or curtains.

Use this textured olive-and-emerald weave for relaxed upholstery or softly patterned curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wiggle Fern without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
