Rio Ash

Brasilia Fabric

Rio Ash presents a cool ash-grey surface with a subtle, irregular woven texture. Fine intersecting threads create gentle tonal variation rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The restrained grey tone sits between silver and charcoal, giving the cloth a cool, quietly architectural character. Its close weave is visibly enlivened by fine vertical and horizontal thread variation, with the surface catching light in softly uneven patches. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric. The absence of a pattern keeps the emphasis on the nuanced ash tone and tactile textile structure.

How to use it

Use Rio Ash to temper warmer timber, stone or painted interiors with its cool grey balance. Its low-contrast woven surface can cover a tailored seat or fall as understated window dressing without introducing a competing motif.

Its cool ash-grey ground and lightly irregular weave bring quiet texture to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
