Abaca Lake
Grasscloth Wallpaper
Abaca Lake presents a muted grey-sage surface with delicate horizontal striations running across the image. Its low-contrast texture gives the colour a softly weathered, quietly dimensional appearance.

About this wallpaper
Catalogued as wallpaper, Abaca Lake is shown here in a cool grey-sage shade that sits between soft green and grey. Fine horizontal lines create the defining grasscloth texture, with subtle tonal variation rather than a drawn motif. The surface appears restrained and matte, while slightly lighter threads catch the light across the swatch. This colourway has a calm, mineral quality that brings gentle depth without introducing a strong pattern.
How to use it
Use this grey-sage wallpaper as a quiet backdrop for pale timber, chalky neutrals and aged metal. Its cool, muted tone also works well with deeper olive or blue-green accents for a more layered scheme.
A quiet grey-sage ground with fine horizontal texture, suited to calm, layered interiors.

Pairs well with
Abaca Lake is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
