Arrowroot Wallcovering Parchment

Grasscloth Ii Wallpaper

Arrowroot Wallcovering Parchment has a deep, earthy parchment-taupe tone, shown here with a finely ridged surface that catches the light in narrow horizontal bands. Its woven appearance gives the wallcovering a quiet, tactile depth.

About this fabric

The Parchment colourway reads as a muted taupe-brown rather than a pale cream, with darker threads adding definition across the ground. Close-set horizontal lines create the characteristic grasscloth texture, while slight variations in the weave prevent the surface from appearing flat. In the photograph, light picks out scattered raised fibres and gives the wallcovering a restrained, uneven sheen. The subtle tonal shifts work particularly well where a calm, natural-textured finish is preferred.

How to use it

Use this deep parchment taupe on walls behind warm timber furniture or alongside charcoal, stone and aged-brass accents. Its darker woven texture can also bring depth to a softly lit bedroom, study or snug.

Pair this deep parchment taupe with warm timber, aged metal and softly patterned upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
