About this wallpaper

This colourway is catalogued as wallpaper and combines a muted taupe-grey field with slender linear bands that create a gently layered surface. Small cream geometric motifs appear at intervals as block-like, rectilinear forms, their low contrast keeping the overall effect quiet rather than graphic. The grey-beige tone reads cool and softly mineral in the image, while the pale motifs catch the eye as subtle flashes against the deeper ground.

How to use it

Use this taupe-grey colourway to bring softly patterned depth to a study, bedroom or understated sitting room. Pair it with chalky cream, weathered timber and muted grey upholstery to echo its low-contrast palette.

A quiet taupe-grey ground with fine linear texture and pale geometric marks, suited to calm, considered interiors.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Motif Wallcovering Tempest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
