About this fabric

The colour sits between warm grey and subdued taupe, with darker threads giving the neutral ground a softly tarnished depth. A compact, fine crosshatch is clearly visible across the swatch, rather than a printed motif or pronounced stripe. The even woven texture gives the fabric a substantial, upholstery-ready appearance while retaining a restrained, understated character. In changing light, the varied thread tones prevent the shade from reading as flat grey.

How to use it

Use M573 Tarnish on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its taupe-grey tone can temper warmer wood and leather. Pair it with chalky neutrals, mushroom shades and aged metal for a calm, quietly layered scheme.
