M572 Tarnish

Moderna Fabric

M572 Tarnish combines a deep blue-teal ground with a softly weathered vertical texture and rows of charcoal circular motifs. The low-key contrast gives the colourway a moody, architectural presence.

About this fabric

The image shows a substantial-looking textile with fine vertical striations running through a dark blue-teal base, while the circles appear in softly varied charcoal-grey tones. Slight tonal shifts across the ground keep the surface from looking flat, giving the hanging fabric depth as it catches the light. Its visible weight and woven texture make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width or rub-test information is supplied for M572 Tarnish.

How to use it

Use this cool, dusky blue-teal colourway on a statement chair, bench or full-height curtain, pairing it with warm rust, tobacco and ochre accents to bring out its depth. Its charcoal circles also sit comfortably alongside dark timber, black metal and natural woven textures.

A deep blue-teal woven design with a tactile strié ground and softly contrasting circular motifs.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside M572 Tarnish without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
