M574 Peacock

Moderna Fabric

M574 Peacock has a deep peacock-teal ground with close tonal flecks that give the surface a softly mottled, tactile appearance. Its cool blue-green colour reads richly rather than brightly in the swatch.

About this fabric

The visible surface is a dense, irregularly textured weave, with charcoal, blue and green fibres blended through the peacock base. Fine tonal variation keeps the colour from appearing flat, while the lightly nubby texture adds quiet depth. With no performance or composition specification supplied, its substantial-looking woven character makes it best judged for upholstery applications. The overall effect is cool, atmospheric and smart, with the darker flecks giving the teal shade a grounded quality.

How to use it

Use M574 Peacock on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its deep blue-green tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass or soft neutral textiles to balance the cool, mottled surface.

Use this deep blue-green teal to bring cool, textured depth to upholstered seating and ottomans.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
