M657 White Sand

Timeless Embroideries Fabric

M657 White Sand pairs a warm, pale sand ground with chalky ivory geometric embroidery. Across the cloth, X-shapes, short bars and gridded blocks sit in a measured repeat, while the low-contrast palette keeps the surface quiet.

About this fabric

The white-sand base reads as a softly warmed neutral rather than a stark white, with subtle tonal variation across the cloth. Ivory stitched lines form angular X motifs, segmented vertical bars, horizontal bands and compact gridded blocks. Because the embroidery stays close in value to the ground, the pattern emerges through texture and gentle shadow more than strong contrast. Its fine-looking surface and open repeat give the design a light, composed presence when used as drapery.

How to use it

Use M657 White Sand for full-length curtains in a warm-neutral scheme, pairing it with pale oak, chalky plaster tones and natural upholstery. Its restrained ivory-on-sand contrast works especially well where you want geometric detail without a busy or high-contrast window treatment.

Use this pale, low-contrast colourway for softly tailored curtains where its ivory embroidery can catch the light without dominating the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside M657 White Sand without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
