Flanders Cement

Timeless Plains Fabric

Flanders Cement is a restrained cement grey with a subtly textured, close-woven surface. Its cool, softly mottled tone gives the plain cloth gentle depth rather than a stark flat finish.

About this fabric

The swatch shows an even plain weave in a muted grey that sits close to cement, with a slight warmth visible through the fine tonal variation. Its small-scale woven texture catches the light delicately, keeping the surface understated while preventing it from appearing completely flat. With no composition, width, rub test or performance features supplied for this fabric, the visible weave and balanced appearance are the clearest guides to its character.

How to use it

Use this cool cement grey as a quiet foundation for tailored seating or full-length curtains, particularly alongside chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal. Its restrained tonal depth also works well in layered grey schemes without becoming severe.

A calm, finely textured neutral for tailored upholstery, curtains and other tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
