Mode Driftwood

Timeless Plains Fabric

Mode Driftwood presents a muted taupe-grey field with the weathered warmth of driftwood rather than the coolness of a pure grey. Its close-up surface reveals a fine, even woven grain with gentle tonal variation.

About this fabric

This plain colourway combines soft brown and grey notes, creating a grounded shade that appears warmer in the darker parts of the weave. The tightly constructed surface shows a delicate crosshatch texture, giving the cloth quiet depth without a visible motif. Its restrained, even appearance lends a smart and understated character to the material. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Mode Driftwood with chalky whites, mushroom neutrals and aged timber to reinforce its warm, weathered taupe-grey character. Its unobtrusive plain weave can sit comfortably on upholstery or fall as understated drapery.

Use its warm taupe-grey tone to bring a softly weathered, quietly refined quality to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
