About this fabric

This colourway has a quiet, greyed taupe tone rather than a strong beige or cool silver, giving it a balanced and restful appearance. A fine, even weave is visible across the swatch, with subtle vertical and horizontal variation that keeps the surface from looking flat. Its restrained texture and mid-weight appearance make it suitable for either upholstery or drapery. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Town Elephant as a calm foundation for an upholstered chair, sofa or relaxed curtain treatment. Its warm grey-taupe cast pairs naturally with stone, oatmeal, pale timber and darker charcoal accents.

A softly greyed taupe with a restrained woven texture for calm upholstery or drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
