Adachi Gunmetal

Itami Fabric

Adachi Gunmetal presents a dramatic damask repeat in deep gunmetal blue-grey, softened by a warm beige ground. The distressed-looking surface gives the ornate pattern a mellow, timeworn character rather than a crisp, high-contrast finish.

About this fabric

Large scrolling floral motifs and stylised medallion details repeat across the fabric in a cool, smoky blue-grey. Behind them, the sandy beige ground is visibly irregular, with fine vertical texture that adds depth to the woven appearance. The contrast is muted rather than stark, allowing the pattern to feel established and decorative without appearing overly bright. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Adachi Gunmetal on a statement armchair, headboard or traditional sofa where its cool blue-grey damask can anchor warmer beige, taupe and aged wood tones. Its softened contrast also suits layered, characterful interiors that need pattern without a glossy or highly formal finish.

A richly patterned, weathered blue-grey damask that brings depth and historical character to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
