Oku Olivine

Itami Fabric

Oku Olivine brings a mellow ochre-yellow tone to Romo’s Itami design. Across the face, fine ivory lines overlap in a softly broken, tactile grid, giving the swatch a layered, hand-worked appearance.

About this fabric

Oku Olivine has a warm, muted yellow-ochre ground, softened by a dense overlay of chalky ivory threads. Fine horizontal and vertical marks cross in irregular lengths, creating a loose woven grid rather than a crisp geometric check. The pale threads interrupt the ochre so the surface shifts between sunlit gold and quieter, linen-like areas as the texture catches the light. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm olivine-ochre colourway to add mellow golden depth to a room, balancing its irregular ivory linework with creamy neutrals, pale timber or softly textured upholstery. It can work equally well on a relaxed chair, cushion or full-length curtain.

Use the warm ochre ground and ivory linework to bring softly layered texture to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
