Nakino Sorbet

Itami Fabric

Nakino Sorbet brings a softly painterly rhythm to the Itami collection, set against a pale grey ground. Irregular vertical marks in coral, blue-grey, ochre and brown create a lively but softened colour mix.

About this fabric

The design is formed from broken, brush-like vertical strokes that vary in length and density across the surface. Pale grey and off-white areas keep the overall impression light, while coral-pink and ochre accents add warmth beside cooler blue-grey marks. Brown strokes bring extra depth without overpowering the quieter background. The visible surface has a softly textured, woven-looking character that gives the abstract pattern gentle definition.

How to use it

Let Nakino Sorbet act as a softly colourful mid-scale layer in a room with pale grey walls or upholstery. Pick up the coral for warmth, or balance it with blue-grey and natural brown accents for a more muted scheme.

Use the pale grey ground as a calm base, then echo its coral, blue-grey, ochre and brown marks through cushions, curtains or accent upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
