About this fabric

The design is formed from repeated angled blocks arranged in vertical zigzag columns, giving the surface a strong graphic rhythm. Coral and teal provide the clearest flashes of colour, while navy, black, olive and soft blush add contrast across the warm ivory background. The close, even weave gives the pattern a subtly textured finish, with the small woven facets catching the light differently as they change direction. This is a visually versatile mid-weight textile that can read as colourful and fresh without losing the grounding effect of its neutral base.

How to use it

Pair Katori Mandarin with warm ivory, tan or pale blush upholstery to soften its graphic energy, or use navy and teal accents to draw out the deeper tones. Its repeating vertical chevrons would add movement to a plain sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain.

Use the warm ivory ground and lively coral-teal accents to bring graphic colour to seating, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
