Katori Fabric

Katori Tamarind has a crisp, repeating geometric design formed from angled blocks that meet in vertical chevron lines. Its warm rust and cream ground is picked out with navy, slate blue, olive and taupe accents.

About this fabric

The closely woven surface gives the pattern a neat, tactile appearance, while the alternating light and dark facets create a subtle sense of depth across the cloth. Rust and ochre notes bring warmth to the colourway, balanced by cooler blue-grey and navy shapes and soft cream space. The repeated angular motif reads as structured and smart rather than ornate. No composition, width, rub-test figures or performance features have been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Katori Tamarind with warm timber, cream upholstery and aged brass to draw out its rust and ochre tones, or use it with navy and slate accents for a cooler, more tailored scheme. Its medium-scale geometric repeat can work across cushions, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains.

Use this warm, graphic colourway to bring tailored pattern and layered earthy colour to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
