Issia Olivine

Katori Fabric

Issia Olivine brings together muted olive, weathered teal, ochre and pale neutral yarns in a closely spaced vertical weave. Its layered striations create gentle movement, while the softly irregular surface keeps the colourway tactile rather than flat.

About this fabric

The dominant olive tone is softened by chalky cream, greyed fibres and slim turquoise-teal lines, with occasional ochre threads adding warmth. Fine vertical bands run continuously through the image, varying subtly in width and density to give the surface a naturally textured rhythm. The dense, opaque-looking weave reads as a substantial upholstery cloth rather than a light, fluid drapery. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Issia Olivine on a sofa, occasional chair or headboard where its olive-and-teal depth can sit alongside warm timber, aged brass and quiet neutral walls. Its vertical lines can also give a tailored lift to rounded upholstery shapes.

Use this richly striated olive colourway to add tactile colour and quiet movement to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
