Nakino Moroccan Blue

Itami Fabric

Nakino Moroccan Blue combines cool blue depth with a lively, vertically arranged woven pattern. Its softly irregular marks give the surface a tactile, hand-rendered character rather than a rigid geometric finish.

About this fabric

The ground is a pale grey-cream, layered with vertical strokes of Moroccan blue, deep navy and blue-teal. Each mark has blurred, brush-like edges, creating a repeated ikat-inspired rhythm across the cloth. The tightly textured weave catches the light unevenly, allowing the darker blue accents to sit alongside softer, misted areas of colour. As a versatile textile with a substantial-looking woven surface, it reads equally well for upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use this cool blue colourway to add pattern to a pale, coastal or contemporary room, pairing it with chalky neutrals and deep navy accents. It would bring particularly effective movement to a statement chair, headboard or full-length curtain.

A cool blue, teal and cream woven pattern that brings crisp graphic movement to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
