About this fabric

The taupe background has a muted, gently greyed warmth that keeps the colourway calm rather than stark. Across it, ivory-white trees spread into finely detailed canopies, with slender branching trunks creating clear definition. The close-set foliage gives the repeat a medium-scale botanical presence while allowing plenty of the neutral ground to show through. A subtle textile grain is visible beneath the pattern, adding quiet depth to the otherwise softly contrasting design.

How to use it

Use Itami Jicama on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtain where its warm taupe ground can soften a neutral room. Repeat the ivory detailing through boucle, linen or painted wood accents for a light, tonal scheme.

Use the warm taupe ground and ivory tree pattern to bring gentle structure to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
