Mokolo Maize

Mokolo Fabric

Mokolo Maize brings a warm maize accent to a closely woven ground of cream, grey and black. Its compact horizontal bands build a rhythmic geometric surface, with small flecks giving the swatch a tactile, layered appearance.

About this fabric

Across the swatch, fine horizontal rows alternate with repeating angular motifs, creating a measured geometric pattern rather than a single bold shape. The maize yellow is softened by the surrounding cream and grey, while small black marks add definition and prevent the colourway from feeling overly sweet. The dense, visibly textured weave reads as substantial and upholstery-led, with the broken pattern giving it depth at close range. No further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Mokolo Maize on a tailored chair, bench or headboard where its warm yellow threads can lift a scheme of chalky cream, grey and charcoal. Pair it with plain fabrics so the compact horizontal pattern remains the room’s main textural detail.

Use this warm, graphic weave to add gentle contrast to cream, grey or charcoal upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
