About this fabric

The close-set weave is made up of tiny irregular rectangular marks, creating a subtle micro-check effect across the surface. Jicama combines an airy ivory ground with fine taupe-grey flecks, giving it a gentle salt-and-pepper depth instead of a flat solid appearance. The small-scale texture catches the light in broken, quiet highlights while retaining an overall soft tone. Catalogued as an Outdoor fabric, it is a relaxed choice for upholstery where a light neutral weave is required.

How to use it

Use Jicama on outdoor seat cushions or relaxed upholstered pieces, then layer in warm stone, chalk and muted taupe accents to draw out its ivory-and-grey balance.

Use this softly mottled ivory-taupe neutral to bring a light, easygoing finish to outdoor upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
