Pluma Wallcovering Jade

Pluma Wallcovering Jade pairs a cool, muted jade-grey ground with an illustrated arrangement of birds, palm-like foliage and slender pale branches. The green parrot and golden-yellow bird bring concentrated colour and movement to the softly shaded background.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper shows a large-scale chinoiserie-style scene, with a long-tailed green bird and a smaller yellow bird perched among delicate branches. The jade ground reads as blue-grey and gently weathered, giving the design a quieter, cooler depth than the vivid foliage and warm yellow plumage. Deep teal-green leaves, cream branches and touches of pale yellow stand out clearly against the subdued background. As a wallpaper, it is suited to creating a distinctive decorative wall rather than a plain backdrop.

How to use it

Use the cool grey-jade ground as the room’s anchoring colour, then pick up the design’s deep greens with painted joinery or upholstery and repeat the small touches of yellow in lampshades or cushions. Its formal illustrated character would suit a study, bedroom or intimate sitting room.

Use this cool grey-jade wallpaper to bring an illustrated, chinoiserie-inspired focal point to a bedroom, study or elegant sitting room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pluma Wallcovering Jade without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
