Cetara Summer

Cetara Fabric FabricCCF0698-20

Cetara Summer is a richly interlaced woven textile with a warm cream ground and a lively scattering of muted red, blush, tan and darker threads. Its close, irregular surface gives the colourway a softly weathered, tactile character rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The dense weave combines oatmeal-like cream with fine terracotta, dusty pink, tan and charcoal-grey flecks, creating gentle depth that shifts as the light catches the uneven yarns. At 310gsm with a 137cm usable width, it has the substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0cm, so the textile reads as an all-over, non-directional texture with no motif to match. A standard length of 40m makes it practical for coordinating larger installations in this distinctive warm, quietly variegated colourway.

How to use it

Use Cetara Summer on a relaxed armchair, headboard or full-length curtain where its warm cream base can brighten the room while the muted red and blush threads introduce restrained colour. Balance it with chalky neutrals, aged timber and terracotta accents rather than highly saturated tones.

Use the warm cream ground and muted red flecks to soften tailored upholstery or add depth to relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
