Genevieve Old Rose

Genevieve FabricCCF0042-01

Genevieve Old Rose pairs a warm ivory ground with layered roses, peonies and smaller blossoms in dusty pink, coral and raspberry. Sage and olive foliage softens the floral arrangement, giving the colourway a gently timeworn garden character.

About this fabric

The large floral motifs are richly varied: pale blush petals sit beside deeper raspberry roses, coral accents and small red berry-like sprays. Against the warm ivory background, the old rose tones read muted rather than bright, while the sage and olive leaves add depth and an understated contrast. At 219gsm with a 140cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery or drapery. The design has a 64cm vertical repeat and a 68.5cm horizontal repeat, so the generous blooms will need considered pattern placement on larger pieces.

How to use it

Use Genevieve Old Rose on a reading chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme, balancing its dusty pink and ivory palette with warm timber, painted neutrals and muted sage accents. Raspberry details can be picked up in a small cushion or trim without making the room feel overly sweet.

A softly traditional floral that brings warm ivory, blush, coral and raspberry tones to upholstery or drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Genevieve Old Rose without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
