Sylph Magenta is a deeply saturated berry-magenta textile with a quietly textured surface. Across the swatch, fine horizontal slubs create gentle tonal variation rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a rich, cool-leaning magenta, with darker berry notes in the woven texture and brighter pink-violet traces where the light catches the surface. Its fine, lightly irregular horizontal weave gives the plain ground depth while keeping the appearance restrained. The supplied weight is 93 gsm and the usable width is 137 cm, making this a light cloth suited to drapery applications. It is supplied in a standard 40 m length, with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat.

How to use it

Use Sylph Magenta for curtains in a room with chalky white, warm stone or soft mushroom upholstery, allowing its vivid berry depth to become the principal colour note. The subtle weave will add texture without competing with patterned furnishings.

Use this saturated berry-magenta cloth for full-length curtains or blinds, pairing it with warm neutrals to soften its depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
