About this fabric

This lightweight 93gsm fabric has a fine woven texture rather than a printed motif, with delicate horizontal lines visible across the surface. Its cool charcoal-taupe ground appears softened by brown-grey undertones, while the sparse sheen catches the light in narrow, subtle traces. Supplied at a usable width of 137cm and a standard length of 40m, it is particularly well suited to fluid drapery. With a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it can be cut and joined without matching a design.

How to use it

Use Sylph Metal for full-length curtains in a room with pale stone, smoked wood or brushed metal, allowing its deep smoky tone to anchor the scheme without introducing a strong pattern. The fine horizontal texture will add quiet movement to otherwise plain window treatments.

Its deep smoky taupe-grey tone and subtle horizontal texture suit refined curtains and understated layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
