About this fabric

The colour reads as a muted blue-grey with a light, almost silvery depth, giving the surface a calm and airy appearance. Fine broken lines run horizontally across the cloth, adding restrained texture while keeping the overall face visually quiet. At 93 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this is a fine textile best suited to drapery and light window treatments. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are listed as 0 cm, and the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Pair Sylph Opal with chalky whites, pale timber and cool stone for a light, quiet scheme. Its blue-grey cast also works as a soft contrast against deeper slate or smoky teal accents.

Use this cool, pale blue-grey cloth for softly diffused curtains and understated window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
