Murano FabricCCF0513-28

Murano Scarlet presents a saturated scarlet-red field with subtle darker and lighter tonal variation across its softly brushed-looking surface. The close-up reads as a plain textile rather than a repeat pattern.

About this fabric

At 464gsm, Murano Scarlet has the substantial visual presence expected of an upholstery fabric, while its softly napped-looking surface gives the red tone depth. The colour moves between vivid scarlet and deeper berry-crimson areas as the texture catches the light. Its 148cm usable width offers a generous working surface for upholstery projects. With a zero-centimetre vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the plain design can be cut without matching a motif.

How to use it

Use this saturated scarlet upholstery fabric to give a sofa, occasional chair or headboard a confident focal presence. Its deep red tone works especially well against charcoal, aged brass, dark walnut and warm neutral walls.

Pair this deep scarlet upholstery cloth with dark timber, smoked glass or warm metallic accents for a rich, enveloping scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
