About this fabric

The 406 gsm weight gives Impasto Blush a substantial presence for upholstery, while its 137 cm usable width supports practical cutting on furniture projects. The design is built from irregular vertical and horizontal painterly marks, with the 80 cm vertical repeat and 68.5 cm horizontal repeat allowing the burgundy, mauve and white accents to reappear across a larger piece. Its blush base reads muted rather than sugary, with darker wine-toned passages and occasional cool grey touches catching the eye through the pale ground.

How to use it

Use Impasto Blush on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its dusty pink ground can be balanced with warm ivory, mushroom, soft grey or deep plum. Keep surrounding pieces relatively quiet so the burgundy brush marks provide the room’s concentrated points of colour.

Use this painterly blush ground to soften upholstery while burgundy and grey accents add depth.
