Swinley Blush

Northwood Fabric FabricCCF0749-01

Swinley Blush is a softly coloured textile in dusty pink and ivory, covered with a closely packed field of tiny scrolling floral-like forms. Its fine woven surface and restrained contrast give the pattern a delicate, softly aged appearance.

About this fabric

The colourway combines a muted blush-pink ground with pale ivory detailing, creating a warm, powdery look rather than a bright or saturated pink. Small curling motifs run continuously across the surface, with the low contrast allowing the weave and intricate pattern to read as a gentle texture from a distance. At 224 gsm, the fabric is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. It has a usable width of 137 cm, a standard length of 40 m, and an 8 cm vertical by 8.5 cm horizontal repeat.

How to use it

Pair the dusty blush tone with chalky ivory, warm neutral upholstery and softly aged timber for a calm, collected room. The small repeat works well on occasional chairs, cushions or relaxed curtains where its fine detail can be seen up close.

Use this softly detailed blush-and-ivory weave to bring gentle pattern and quiet colour to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
