Rivington PVC Sage

Northwood Fabric FabricCCX0171-03

Rivington PVC Sage pairs a warm cream ground with a finely drawn, dusty sage pastoral scene. Trees, leafy sprigs and small woodland animals create a softly faded toile effect, with the pale colourway keeping the overall impression light and cool.

About this fabric

The 224 gsm weight gives this fabric a versatile mid-weight presence, suitable for use across upholstery and drapery. Its 130 cm usable width is filled with a repeating pastoral arrangement, while the 32 cm vertical and 68.5 cm horizontal repeats establish a gently regular rhythm across the cloth. Against the creamy background, the sage-grey illustrations read as muted rather than saturated, allowing the branching trees and animal figures to retain their delicate detail. The standard length is 20 m, making the design practical to plan across coordinated interior applications.

How to use it

Use the pale sage-and-cream ground on a reading chair, blind or relaxed curtain, then echo the cool sage with stone, natural linen and weathered wood. Its low-contrast pastoral drawing works especially well where a traditional motif is wanted without a strong or dark colour statement.

The cool, softened sage toile brings a quietly traditional character to upholstery, curtains and layered country interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Rivington PVC Sage without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
