Moorland Green

Montage FabricCCF0031-02

Moorland Green sets crisp cream fern fronds, airy seed heads and small butterflies against a softly muted sage-green ground. The fine woven texture gives the colourway a gentle, natural depth rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

This 224gsm fabric has a calm sage-green tone with a slightly cool, softened quality, while the ivory botanical silhouettes remain bright and clearly defined. Ferns, branching flower heads and butterflies are scattered across the cloth, creating a large-scale meadow composition with plenty of open ground between motifs. The usable width is 137cm, with a 64cm vertical repeat and a 68.5cm horizontal repeat, so pattern placement should be considered carefully on larger upholstered pieces or full-width curtains. A standard length of 40m makes it practical for coordinating runs across a scheme.

How to use it

Use Moorland Green on a relaxed armchair, headboard or full-length curtain where its sage tone can sit alongside warm oak, natural linen and chalky neutral walls. Position the larger fern and flower-head motifs to let the cream silhouettes read clearly rather than being lost in seams or folds.

A soft sage ground and chalky botanical silhouettes bring a calm, natural character to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
