Ornella Charcoal/Chartresue

Montage FabricCCF0564-01

Ornella Charcoal/Chartresue layers fine charcoal stems, pale grey-blue foliage and small chartreuse flower centres across a soft ivory ground. The dense floral arrangement feels light and airy at first glance, but the charcoal drawing gives the colourway clear definition.

About this fabric

This 224gsm fabric has a 137cm usable width, making it a versatile mid-weight choice for upholstery or drapery. The pattern combines repeated sprays of outlined leaves, small blossoms and larger stylised flowers, with the cool charcoal and grey detailing softened by muted chartreuse accents. Its vertical repeat is 64cm and its horizontal repeat is 45.7cm, so the floral placement should be considered carefully when cutting larger upholstered panels. Supplied in a standard 40m length, it offers a consistent run of this quietly detailed ivory, charcoal and chartreuse colourway.

How to use it

Pair it with chalky ivory, pale grey or charcoal plains to echo the ground and linework, then pick up the muted chartreuse in piping, cushions or small painted details. It would bring a fresh, cool character to a reading chair, occasional sofa or softly tailored curtains.

Use the soft ivory ground with charcoal foliage and chartreuse accents to bring a cool, tailored floral note to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
