About this fabric

The warm mushroom-taupe ground gives the design a quiet, softened depth, while the ivory motifs provide clear but gentle contrast rather than a stark effect. A fine woven texture is visible beneath the scattered fern fronds, butterflies and branching meadow flowers. Weighing 224gsm, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. The botanical repeat measures 64cm vertically by 68.5cm horizontally, and the 137cm usable width allows the layout to be considered carefully around the larger fern and flower groupings.

How to use it

Use Moorland Taupe where a warm neutral is needed without losing pattern, such as relaxed curtains, a reading-chair cushion or a softly tailored seat. Pair its ivory foliage with chalky whites, oat tones and natural wood to keep the woodland feel light and understated.
