About this fabric
This Studio G fabric weighs 270 gsm and has a 138 cm usable width, giving it a versatile mid-weight handle for upholstery or drapery. The visible ground is a warm, greyed taupe rather than a deep brown, while the botanical motifs are picked out in a soft ivory tone. Stylised leaves, curling stems, open flower heads and small clustered blooms fill the design with a medium-scale rhythm. The pattern has a 28 cm vertical repeat and 46 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the varied foliage to continue across a larger cut.
How to use it
Use Marbury Taupe on a reading chair, bench or relaxed curtain scheme where its warm greige ground can soften stronger wood tones and the ivory foliage can link to cream upholstery or paintwork.
