New Forest Natural

Montage FabricCCF0072-01

New Forest Natural sets a storybook woodland across a warm cream ground: foxes, deer, squirrels, rabbits and birds sit among fine trees, cottages and sprigs. Muted sage and olive foliage is balanced by lilac-grey animals, giving this natural colourway a soft, lightly weathered depth.

About this fabric

Fine woodland illustrations are scattered across the warm natural ground, including foxes, squirrels, deer, owls, rabbits, birds, cottages and varied tree forms. The palette remains quiet rather than bright, with cool lilac-grey animals set against soft sage and olive foliage and occasional earthy brown detail. At 224 gsm, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight specification, while its 137 cm usable width makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 32 cm vertical and 68.5 cm horizontal pattern repeats give the individual scenes a measured rhythm across the cloth, supplied in a standard 40 m length.

How to use it

Use New Forest Natural on a reading chair, loose Roman blind or relaxed curtains, pairing its warm cream background with oak, painted timber and muted sage or lilac accessories.

Use the warm cream ground with natural wood, sage upholstery and muted lilac accents for a gentle woodland scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside New Forest Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
