Marina Fabric FabricCCF0786-01

Shellfish Charcoal pairs a warm ivory textile ground with repeating charcoal drawings of lobsters, crabs and other shellfish. The softly textured surface keeps the illustrated pattern feeling relaxed rather than stark.

About this fabric

The colourway is built around a creamy ivory background, overlaid with finely drawn charcoal shellfish in varied orientations and sizes. At 224gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 137cm usable width supports practical cutting, while the pattern repeats every 32cm vertically and 34.5cm horizontally. Charcoal marks read as softly weathered grey-black against the warm ground, giving the design depth without making the room feel heavy.

How to use it

Use Shellfish Charcoal on a relaxed occasional chair, roman blind or pair of cushions where its warm ivory base can sit alongside timber, rattan and other natural textures. The cool charcoal linework also gives pale coastal schemes a little definition without introducing a strong saturated colour.

The warm ivory ground and charcoal shellfish linework bring an easy coastal character to seating, curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
