Shellfish PVC Ink

Marina Fabric FabricCCX0182-02

Shellfish PVC Ink pairs a warm cream ground with finely drawn ink-blue lobsters and other shellfish in a rhythmic all-over design. The dark linework gives this colourway a cool maritime character while the ground keeps it light.

About this fabric

Fine navy-ink illustrations of lobsters, crabs and smaller shellfish are scattered across the softly textured cream ground. The 32 cm vertical and 34.5 cm horizontal repeats create a regular pattern without making the individual motifs feel oversized. At 224 gsm and 130 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The contrast is muted rather than stark, with the weathered blue linework bringing depth and a hand-drawn coastal feel to the warmer neutral background.

How to use it

Use Shellfish PVC Ink on relaxed dining or occasional chairs where the ink-blue drawings can be appreciated up close, or make softly gathered curtains that let the warm cream ground brighten a coastal room. Pair it with weathered timber, chalky whites and restrained blue accents.

Use the warm cream ground and cool ink-blue shellfish sketches for relaxed coastal upholstery, blinds or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
