About this fabric

The large-scale scene includes several distinctive lighthouse forms, pitched-roof harbour buildings, sailing boats and loose cloud shapes, all rendered in a muted, cool palette. The mineral cream ground keeps the design light, while the pale blue marks read as airy and the grey outlines give the landmarks definition without harsh contrast. At 224gsm, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery. It has a 137cm usable width, a 63cm vertical repeat and a 68.5cm horizontal repeat; the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Lowestoft Mineral for relaxed curtains, blinds or occasional upholstery in a coastal room with chalky cream walls and weathered grey timber. Pick out its pale blue and tiny yellow accents in cushions or painted details rather than adding stronger colour.

A relaxed coastal scene in mineral cream, softened with pale blue and weathered grey.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lowestoft Mineral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
