About this fabric

The low-contrast sage-grey motifs include deer, branching trees and repeated pastoral forms, with the ivory ground keeping the overall effect light rather than saturated. Its fine surface grain adds gentle visual depth without obscuring the detailed scene. At 224 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this mid-weight fabric is suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 32 cm vertical and 68.5 cm horizontal pattern repeats allow the woodland composition to read clearly across a made-up length, with a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Pair Rivington Sage with warm ivory, chalk and pale oak tones to reinforce its soft pastoral mood. It works particularly well on relaxed curtains, a reading-chair cushion or small upholstered pieces where the sage woodland pattern can remain visible.

Use the pale sage woodland scene to bring a gentle, traditional character to curtains, occasional upholstery or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
