About this fabric

Fine stems and small leaves form a closely spaced botanical repeat, with the cool grey drawing softly across the light ground rather than creating a strong graphic contrast. The 32 cm vertical repeat and 5.7 cm horizontal repeat give the pattern a regular, gently rhythmic movement. With a usable width of 137 cm and a weight of 224 gsm, this mid-weight textile is suited to both upholstery and drapery. The standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Pair Lila Smoke with chalky whites, pale grey upholstery and cool natural woods to reinforce its misted, delicate tone. It also works well as relaxed curtains or occasional seating where the small leafy repeat can be appreciated up close.

Use the cool smoke-grey foliage on its pale ground for calm upholstery, cushions or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
