Birch Pewter

Organics FabricCCF0192-01

Birch Pewter is a cool, mid-grey textile marked with pale, broken lines that form an irregular distressed grid. Its layered surface shifts between soft pewter and silvery highlights as the light catches the pattern.

About this fabric

The cool pewter-grey ground is overlaid with pale silver-grey vertical and horizontal marks, creating a fractured, architectural texture rather than a regular geometric check. Fine broken lines, scraped-looking patches and uneven tonal shifts give the surface visible depth without introducing a strong contrasting colour. At 210 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The pattern repeats every 36.5 cm vertically and 34.5 cm horizontally, while the 137 cm usable width allows the motif to be considered clearly across a project.

How to use it

Use Birch Pewter to bring a cool, quietly graphic note to seating, cushions or window treatments, especially alongside chalk whites, charcoal, pale timber and brushed metal. Its muted grey tone works well where a room needs texture without a warm or colourful shift.

Pair the cool pewter ground with chalk, charcoal and brushed-metal accents for a crisp, layered scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Birch Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
