About this fabric

The muted taupe reads softly greige rather than strongly brown, giving the colourway a quiet, warm-neutral depth. Chalky off-white lines form compact square sections, switching direction from horizontal to vertical to create an orderly checked grid with a subtly irregular, hand-drawn character. At 210 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery or drapery. The pattern has a 9.1 cm vertical repeat and an 8.6 cm horizontal repeat, keeping the block structure relatively small across a finished piece.

How to use it

Pair the gentle greige taupe with natural oak, warm ivory and stone shades for a restrained modern scheme. The chalk-white block lines work particularly well on occasional chairs, Roman blinds or relaxed curtains where the small repeat can be appreciated up close.

Use this softly muted taupe with chalky whites to bring gentle geometric texture to upholstery, curtains or blinds.
