Bloc Silver

Organics FabricCCF0193-03

Bloc Silver pairs a pale, cool silver ground with fine grey lines arranged into a compact grid of alternating horizontal and vertical blocks. The understated contrast gives the surface a crisp, lightly textured graphic quality.

About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular, closely spaced grey lines, with each small rectangular section changing direction to create a woven-looking block pattern. In this silver colourway, the light ground keeps the pattern airy and contemporary, while the grey markings add enough definition to read clearly across the surface. At 210 gsm and 137 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeat measures 9.1 cm vertically by 8.6 cm horizontally, giving the design a neat, relatively small-scale rhythm; the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Bloc Silver on occasional upholstery, cushions or relaxed curtains where its cool grey tone can sit alongside chalky whites, charcoal details and pale timber. Its compact linear repeat also works well as a restrained counterpoint to plain boucle, wool or smooth painted finishes.

Use the cool silver ground with pale neutrals, charcoal accents and natural timber for a calm, quietly graphic scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
