About this fabric

The dense botanical pattern is made up of overlapping oak-like leaves, fine outlined foliage and scattered acorns, giving the surface a medium-scale, richly detailed appearance. Its palette stays softly toned: pale ivory and greyed neutrals sit beneath sage and olive greens, while small russet and ochre touches add warmth without overpowering the ground. At 465gsm, Mercia PVC Linen has the substantial weight expected of an upholstery fabric. It is supplied at a 130cm usable width, with a 32cm vertical repeat and 34.2cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use this cool, leafy sage-and-olive ground on a chair, ottoman or country-style sofa, then pick up its russet acorn details in piping or cushions. The pale background also works well with warm timber, painted cabinetry and natural neutral walls.

Use this leafy sage, olive and russet colourway to bring a softly country feel to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
