About this fabric

The close-up shows a plain woven ground rather than a printed motif, with tiny interlaced fibres creating restrained surface depth. The charcoal tone reads cool and softened, while the olive-grey undertone prevents it from appearing flat black. At 343gsm, this is a substantial fabric with a 140cm usable width, making it well suited to upholstery applications. It has a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, so cutting can be planned without motif matching, and the standard length is 30m.

How to use it

Use Renzo Charcoal on a structured armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep olive-grey tone can anchor warm timber, aged brass and softly contrasting natural shades. Its plain weave also works well when layered with more tactile or patterned cushions.

A dense, understated charcoal weave suited to tailored upholstery and refined contemporary interiors.
