About this fabric

The colourway is deliberately muted: charcoal marks sit against an ivory base, while the broken edges and uneven tonal shifts keep the geometric motif from looking stark. A visibly striated weave adds a lightly tactile, distressed character rather than a smooth or polished finish. At 240gsm and 138cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats over 42cm vertically and 23cm horizontally, giving the angular motif a clear but manageable medium scale.

How to use it

Pair Obi Charcoal with pale stone, chalky grey and natural timber for a calm, graphic scheme. Its cool charcoal tone also works well as a structured accent on occasional upholstery against softer ivory or warm-neutral furnishings.

Use the cool charcoal and ivory palette to add structured pattern without overwhelming a room.
